The bank has around 250 branches all over south India. As part of its first round of banking automation, the bank has automated its back office operations and all the branches have been networked. The bank now wants to aggressively increase its presence in the various cities by opening ATM centers. The bank clients will register for the ATM service by giving a written request to the bank. On receiving the request from the client, the Client Service Personnel will generate the ATM Personal Identification Number(PIN) and the same will be dispatched to the client along with the ATM card. The client can access the ATM by slipping in the card and providing the PIN. The client will be able to withdraw cash, deposit cash and obtain mini statements, transfer fund to another account of the same bank. Other activities that the client can perform through the ATM will be sending a requisition for chequebooks, deposit slips and payment instructions. To ensure security at the ATM centers, a hidden camera will be installed. In case the camera lens is blocked for any reason the ATM system should be shut down. If the face of the person operating the system is hidden from the camera, a message should be displayed and if the condition persists, the client should be logged out without completing the transaction. The job of putting the cash in the ATM will be subcontracted to Secure Limited. Secure Limited has personnel called ATM Servicing Executive who will on a regular basis replenish the cash in the ATM. For this each ATM Servicing Executive will be provided with a ATM card. Using this card the ATM SE will be able to count the cash in the ATM before and after replenishing the cash. The same is also to be logged in the local and in the main system. Any and all activities performed through the system should be logged electronically with the central system and also stored and printed in the local system
